HMM Mobile Microphone

The Heil HMM features an innovative redesign of the traditional hand microphone that vastly improves sound quality and performance. Other hand mics suffer from a hollow sound because of poor elements that are improperly mounted. Heil solved this problem by installing a grill on the top of the microphone that detunes the internal resonance of the housing. The HMM features an improved full-range dynamic element that provides high quality sound and great speech articulation.

The HMM has a hardwired coil cable that terminates with an 1/8” male connector for the microphone and a 1/4” male connector for the PTT control.

The HMM is available with a dynamic element or with an iC electret element. The dynamic element version is not recommended for use with Icom radios. The iC electret version is specifically designed for use with Icom radios.
