Works great on my tube type radios. I got a used D104 with a bad mic element so I replaced it with this kit and everyone says it sounds great on my Collins, Hallicrafters and Drake radios!

Got this a while back and put into a d104 with a UG8 stand and received nice compliments on the sound of replacement element. If you are wanting to use a vintage type mic on a newer hf rig this is a very good kit. Got mine hooked up to a Yaesu FT dx 10 and make dx contacts all across the pond. 73 from N.Arkansas 2WR2029/2EK2029
