Another Addition to the Heil Family

This product was designed and built by Bob Heil, pioneer in the live sound industry, to answer the need for commercial broadcast, studio recording, and live sound applications.

This limited production is serial numbered and signed by Mr. Heil to commemorate the opening of the Heil Sound technology display in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame located in Cleveland, Ohio.

Proceeds of the Commemorative Classic are being returned to the museum as support for the preservation of historic musical items.

The Rock Hall

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio serves as the permanent home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This is the world’s first museum dedicated to the living heritage of rock and roll music. The Museum features dynamic interactive exhibits, intimate performance spaces and a rotation of artifact and costume displays from the museum’s permanent collection.

Rock Hall Reception

Heil Sound hosted about 80 people for the opening reception at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on June 7, 2006. After cocktails and hors d’oeurves, guests were treated to a presentation in the 4th floor theater. The presentation included a short biography film about Bob Heil and special congratulations from Joe Walsh and Peter Frampton. The presentation wrapped up with the awarding of a Commemorative Classic microphone to the winner of the Musician’s Friend contest, from which one lucky customer and a guest joined Heil Sound at their special event. The conclusion of the event was a heartfelt speech by Bob Heil. View the photo gallery.
